Why competition matters

Competition BBQ is blind-judged on appearance, tenderness, and taste. There’s no benefit of the doubt and nowhere to hide — which is exactly why we love it.

Every technique we use on the contest trail — the trims, the wood, the wraps, the rest — goes straight into the food we serve at your event. When you book The Burnt Crow, you’re booking the same cooks, the same smokers, and the same standards.
